In the aftermath of the Geth attack on the Citadel in 2183, the Council, newly headed by Humanity’s representative Councillor Toshinori Anderson, has officially tasked the Hero of the Citadel, Commander Izuku Shepard-Midoriya with routing the remainder of the Geth attackers. Essentially, clean-up duty.
Unofficially though, the first human Spectre is tasked with finding more information on the Reapers, the true threat to all organic life in the Galaxy.
During its stealth flight in the Amada System, the Normandy, Commander Shepard’s ship is attacked and destroyed.
