Shadow Milk has never had a good relationship with sleep. It has always been something better left discarded, when there is nothing pleasant to dream of.
But the restlessness that plagues him now, gaze set on the ceilings expertly crafted from vanilla biscuit above him, is from something entirely different.
The owner of his other half, wrapped snugly in fluffy marshmallow blankets, shifts, mumbling in his sleep. Drifts a little bit closer, until he finds the other to embrace, his hold on him soft, but firm. A frown tugs at his mouth at the contact, a dull pain settling within him, conflicting with a desire that has always been unspoken.
It wasn’t always this way.

Summary
Pure Vanilla visits White Lily to talk about his growing feelings for Shadow Milk. She doesn't understand but if he was willing to stand up to all of them and give the Beast a chance to change then she supposes she has no other choice but to support him. Unfortunately for them, her faerie subjects get the wrong idea of why the two Ancients are meeting more frequently and decide to take matters into their own hands.
A potion to bring forth hidden affections given to the one cookie that has some form of love for every single person he's ever known means now White Lily has to try and keep an increasingly cuddly Pure Vanilla from embarrassing himself in front of everyone he crosses paths with. And when Shadow Milk shows up, she needs to keep him from making a mistake that may just drive the jester away for good.
Pure Vanilla is lucky she's always been good at figuring out spell craft... and with an extremely reluctant Shadow Milk's help, maybe they can break this lovestruck haze that her friend is trapped in.
