Summary
He was always curious about what happened when you died. Is there an afterlife? A warm nothingness? Or does it all just…end? Heaven or hell? Purgatory? He once imagined that perhaps belief influenced what happened after death. Maybe your soul was sent to some 5th dimensional space beyond time, where mortality is relative and belief influences reality.
What he was absolutely confident in, was that he was definitely going to hell.

Why is the floor wet and covered in bodies?
----
Priority Numero Uno: Don't die again, idiot.
Priority 2: Climb.
Priority 3: Get gud.

AKA: local goober transmigrates into the deepest pit of the Abyss, hatching from a strange black egg- WAIT, THIS IS JUST LIKE THOSE OTHER HK/SI FICS!

Summary
Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.

Summary
What does one do when even their most violent struggles fail them time and time again?
Well they give up something to go further back of course.
Afterall what better way is there to avert the future than to go back to a point in time in which you might be able to change it all, where strength long lost can be maintained and brought to bare against a new foe.
This would be the last time they'd return, and even if they were but an echo of who they once were, they would be giving it their all. One last time.

Summary
All of us have seen Hollow Knight Time-travel fix-it fics. All of us have seen Hollow Knight Isekai fics. I now combine these two with something darker, something I’ll be keeping close to the chest, in the hopes I can make an actually cool reveal.
Jack was not hero material. He was more computer engineer material. So he’s not the best option to throw into the world of Hollow Knight. But he’s the one that fate - or something darker - chose. With nothing but his wits, the few items from his bedside table, and his knowledge of the game, he has no choice but to set on the journey he’s only ever seen through a screen… though it quickly becomes apparent that this isn’t the same story he’s played through. Something else is pulling on the strings…

Summary
Roland, a young Shielder from Arlenford who dreamed of standing between humanity and harm, never expected that a single failed mission at his mentor’s side would leave him stranded in a place beyond any tale or map.
At the same time, Hornet, daughter of Hallownest, is taken to Pharloom against her will. Suspicious of her captors and the strange magic that calls to her weaver heritage, she is determined to seize her own answers and refuses to leave until she does.
Bound by circumstance, the two may find in each other what they lack alone. Yet with the arrival of a soul not woven into this realm, the old threads of fate begin to fray. And from their unraveling, something new begins to spin.
