Kara begins her journey to becoming the first female quarterback in NFL history while Lena has been crowned as the youngest CEO of a multi-billion dollar company. To capitalize on their newfound roles, the powers-that-be suggest a fake relationship for bonus PR. With the immense pressure on both of their shoulders, two polar opposites from vastly different worlds butt heads repeatedly until they somehow miss and kiss each other instead.

Kara is suffocating under the weight of her grief since Mon-El left. Lena feels Kara slipping away from her, and it amplifies all her worst fears of abandonment. A rift of things left unsaid has formed between them, but something inexplicably keeps drawing them back to each other.
When Kara finds a mysterious girl who is familiar in ways she can't quite place, the three of them are inevitably drawn together by their shared desire to not feel alone, and maybe something more.

"Kara Danvers," Kara says, putting on her best smile. "Reporter. It's great to meet you, I think we really – "
"Ah, Kara Danvers. The newest addition to the roster, and yet one who has her own private office on the 21st floor," Lena interrupts.
