Nightwish really should’ve paid closer attention to the plans.
A massive prison on an island a mile and a half offshore of the docks of L’manberg, a place surrounded by water with no way off for a species unable to swim? Probably some more risks there for them than the average Hound Army soldier.
Stubbornly, though, they insisted they stick with Technoblade, assuming they’d be safe with him. Which, in their defense, they were.
But as mist crept into their lungs, stinging their skin, the waves slamming against the docks and splashing onto the pavement, Nightwish was starting to regret it. -

Technoblade rarely travels in the Nether anymore. He'd come down here this time to gather a few materials he can't get in the Overworld, and then he was going to leave the place where he was born but not raised.
And then he’d heard the snuffling. It’s a quiet thing, sniffling mixed with high-pitched whines, and, oh, there go his instincts. Recognizing the sound even though he’s never heard it before- though he definitely made it in his youth.
There’s a piglet nearby, and they’re terrified.
He casts one final, forlorn glance at the gold he’d seen higher up, and then he turns to follow the sound.

The door opens with a slight squeak-- a problem in the hinges that Techno’s has to get around to fixing-- and the warm light from inside pours out onto the front porch. It’s a stark difference from the dim rain of the night, and already, Techno can feel a chill rush in.
Wilbur stands there with wide eyes, soaking wet from head to toe, with something small held up to his chest. It’s wrapped in what looks to have been his jacket.
“Ah.” Wilbur gives a half-hearted grin, ignoring the insistent meow coming from the bundle of fabric in his palms. “Hi.”
Techno slams the door shut.
