"You... are so lucky I like you. Look, Geppy, let me at least check you over! And there's no arguing, mister, because you know I am much stronger than you. I... I don't want to, but I need to make sure you're okay," Bad scolded, his stern expression betrayed by his anxious eyes, "Just turn around so I can check for any scuffs."
Despite Skeppy (probably) not being physically injured, he doesn't think that Bad would believe him if he explained what happened.
He could still vividly remember the image of the relic dissolving into his skin.

Or, in which Skeppy's normal blue color is replaced by whatever emotions he's feeling. It's going to be difficult for him to explain to Bad why he keeps glowing pink every time they make eye contact.

Summary
The shape of something vast shifted in the water, and before Skeppy could open his mouth, it shot forward. Without flinching, he reached forward with a laugh and placed his hand against it. The tendril unstiffened and pushed closer, the soft texture pressing against the side of his face. Skeppy wrapped an arm around it and placed a kiss against its skin before an immense figure rose from the depths. Multiple tendrils revealed themselves as two white spots stared up at him, and only a moment passed before the shape of his best friend came into view.

The unfamiliar feeling had first hit him on only the second day of their road trip. They both wanted to go all out with their meet-up, so they planned a week-long road trip across a few states.
At first, it was awkward.
As if neither of them really knew what to do or say.
But they quickly fell back into their usual banter, and it was the most fun Skeppy had in years. The day afterward, when he watched Bad sleepily wake up in the opposite hotel bed, he had an 'oh fuck' moment. And ever since that morning, he's been panicking and desperately trying to convince himself that the blush he had felt didn't exist.
