He had it easy at first. Relatively easy. They toyed with him, but it might be weeks between encounters, maybe even longer. They didn't send darts, rarely used scanners. The ones that did come seemed clumsy, sleepy, too eager. They weren't like any Wraith infantry that Ronon had ever seen, the ones he'd encountered guarding sleeping hives or stalking through burning fields on other worlds to glean the hidden survivors on the morning after a small culling.
Maybe they were young. It made sense. He wasn't food; he was a game, a toy for when they were bored.
