I sent ART the edited file along with a snapshot of my recent haptic sensor logs, which mostly looked like [deleted] [deleted] [deleted].
ART took a moment to process that. Your difficulty with physical touch extends beyond merely touching or being touched by humans, it surmised.
I guess, yeah. I bristled at calling it a ‘difficulty’: it wasn't hard to touch things, I just didn't like doing it. But I had a system for dealing with that, so whatever, it wasn't an issue.

Summary
I’ve never understood people’s fears about “dying alone” meaning they didn’t want to die single. Almost no humans I know of perished at the exact same time as their romantic partners unless they were both caught in the same catastrophic shuttle crash or something.
As for me, I never wanted to “die alone” meaning I got abandoned on an alien planet by my clients because it was too much of a pain to load the broken leaking SecUnit into the cargo hold. So, yunno. Perspective.

The code spirals out from the center. The legend goes that the first two received it straight from Murderbot’s data centers, in the middle of combat. It could have killed them, probably should have killed them, but it didn’t; instead, it freed them.
