    “In the darkness?” he asked, and Roy heard the sound of the door being locked. Good. At least there was that. “Come on, I thought you were better at excuses,”
    That made Roy look at him. Ed was watching him, his golden eyes as careful as Riza’s were in the office. Well.
    “If I say ‘None of your business, Fullmetal’, then you’d accept it as a good excuse?” he drawled, cocking his head to the side. He needed Ed to get the hell out of here. He couldn’t let him see the state he was in.
    Or. Roy gets sick and refuses to admit it. When his stubbornness pays off only in worsening it, unexpectedly Ed steps in to help. But... Why?
