A whine gets caught in Livio’s throat at the praise. He watches how the muscles in Livio’s arms bulge and strain against the leather straps and hears how they struggle to hold him back. Nicholas knows that Livio could have broken the restraints the moment he was tied to the chair. With how old they are and Livio’s training, it would take little exertion for the leather to snap and allow him to break free. But he doesn’t. He’s so eager to be good.
