it’s 3am i’m ugly crying this was so beautiful and raw and sad but still so beautiful! i felt so much for shouto and i felt so much anger at his family. the whole savior sibling rubs me the wrong way like i cantttt i get the why but it’s just so unfair! i loved how the author wrote this topic tho and i cried so much when they were at the hospital and fuckass endeavor caused shou to have another episode 😔 but the end was everything i wanted for shou🥺🥹🥹 also the fact that the family had no idea of the sexual harassment and the depression and the meds shouto was on made me absolutely sick like good for kats for yelling at them and being angry!!

Todoroki Shouto’s only reason for visiting the hospital, at first, is to keep his comatose mother company—it’s the least he can do when he’s responsible for the car crash that caused it. He never intended on befriending anyone there, never thought he’d do anything more than go through life with his usual numbness—But Bakugou Katsuki is crass and violent, bright in a gritty sort of way, and Shouto can’t help but feel intrigued by his off-putting mannerisms. It’s not long before he realizes that Bakugou’s too much to contain within the hospital’s sterile walls—but then Shouto realizes that he’s too much for Shouto to contain, too.
Alternately: there’s more parallels between flowers and love than two hurting men realize. Love can wither, but it will never truly die.

the plot twist?? helloooo?!! pure cinema!!! this has just the right amount of angst with such a palpable sense of longing and hurt so good!! a year!! shou forgot kats for a whole year!!! the gasp i let out when i read that part! this was a very good read!
also the spring day lyrics in the description?! top tier song!! the fic def encapsulates the feelings of longing and the desire to meet again that spring day gives -

when we realized the kind stranger was actually shouto himself?! ugh shou’s character development is by far one of my faves. he really overcame so much pain and abuse and came out of it so kind and reassuring. and now he has a good support system and he’s so so so so loveedddd!!! fuyumi also deserves so much happiness and love for continuously being the one acting like an adult when she was just a child.
