This is my exchangelock gift for teacuphuman who said they liked angst with a happy ending and teenlock and potterlock so this is what popped out of my brain.
John and Sherlock meet several times during their tenure at Hogwarts. But as fate would play out, it is always the worst times. The boys have a long and bumpy road to get to a good place between them, but it all works out in the end. The stars are far away, but given time they will align.
