ok so.... pooks.. i originally wrote this for a class extra credit thing haha ap euro so silly...
basically tldr is that louis is suffering from delulu and insane paranoia ... esp bc of the Fronde (his childhood trauma that shaped him) ... and is super afraid of his brother taking over... and he has a lowkey homosexual relationship like borderline/practically codependent relationship with bontemps... but also... its not very explicit bc louis is super macho and masculine in contrast to his brother who was gay (real) (this bit is historically accurate)
