Summary
Before the Battle of New York, Clint had already lost Phil. He had a plan and a date set to win him back, until Loki changed everything. Suddenly finding himself with nothing to do, with no way to make amends, Clint leaves New York behind and finds himself on a small ranch in Iowa. Hawkeye is still needed in the field however and Clint takes precautions to keep his farm safe from everyone except his friends. Like Natasha and Bruce; even though Bruce won't let him paint the porch purple and Natasha brings a traumatized assassin over for breakfast. And then, one day, Phil shows up. And Clint doesn't know what to do anymore.
