For the prompt:
Stubborn and dutiful as he is, Javert goes to work despite a really bad fever. Needless to say this is a bad combination, and (eventually) he becomes delirious and collapses.
I’d love to see this take place during the Madeleine-era, so Javert can collapse in front of Monsieur le Maire, who of course insists on taking care of him. That in turn would give Javert’s fever-flushed mind more than enough opportunity to admit to his usually well-repressed feelings for Valjean/Madeleine, and things can, ahem, ‘progress’ from there. Your call on how far: anything from kissing to ‘it’ works for me.
Whether the fever is due to illness or injury doesn’t matter, as long as it’s nothing icky or lethal please! I just want a good reason to get the dear Inspector all hot ‘n bothered, so he can lose some of that infuriating self-control of his :D.
Any ‘verse welcome, canon or (modern) AU, although I will admit that personally I’m partial to Stage!Javert (Quast!Javert if you want to make me reaaaaally happy). Something about that arrogant pride just begs to be broken. And there is the ponytail, of course ;p Would be nice, but like I said, any 'verse is welcome.

Summary
After their treasure hunting day, Ed's still on edge trying to figure Stede out, so he decides to ask about the other secret passageways in the ship.
Stede shows him the one under the bed, where he's always thought he could hide from a marauding pirate captain... or be captured by one. Hiding together down there from the crew, Ed rapidly learns that Stede's got more going on in his secret passageways than anyone knew...

They’re not exactly tentacles, Izzy explained to him once, but Ed never really got the difference, and there’s no other word he can think of to describe them, anyway. Izzy wraps it around Ed’s thigh, and Ed spreads his legs, beckoning Izzy in.

Stede takes a step forward and raises his arms like he’s about to launch into another lengthy speech, but then he freezes. His eyes widen, and Ed grins. That’s the face of a man who barely stopped himself from leaking into his pants. Shit, Ed didn’t realise things were that urgent. He spreads his legs a little, making sure to hike up the hem of his plaid skirt so Stede gets a glimpse of his lacy panties.
Stede’s eyes follow the movement like a deer spotting a predator in the underbrush. Bingo. Ed gives him an innocent smile.
When Ed notices his professor Stede squirming in class, he decides to have some fun with it.
