By then, Steve had basically told her his whole life story: rich, obnoxious parents who were only around once a year, obnoxious but kind-hearted friends (Nancy refrains from rolling her eyes because, Tommy Hagan kind-hearted?), an affinity for all kinds of sports and music, his complicated childhood that he doesn't remember much about—okay, that was weird.
"You don't remember anything about your childhood?" Nancy asks, puzzled.
Steve shakes his head, unconcerned as he eats his hamburger, "The doctors say it's a defense mechanism of my brain, to suppress the memories of when I was kidnapped."
Nancy wonders if she heard him right, "When you what?"

The new year has just rolled over into 1985 and closet-Arthurian-legend-nerd Steve Harrington is already so overwhelmed by the new gaggle of children hanging off of him and wheedling him into being their personal chauffeur that he’s entirely unprepared for the chaos the new student would bring into his life.
Merlin just wants to know why this guy feels so familiar. And why his magic drew him to Hawkins, Indiana of all places.

Summary
Giving up isn’t a conscious decision that Steve Harrington ever thought he might make. He’s survived nineteen years of shitty parents, impossible expectations, and literal monsters, and somehow this has become the breaking point. He’s not smart, at least not in the same way that people like Dustin and Robin and Nancy are, and he’s not the one who usually figures things out, but he always manages to keep them safe.
Now, he can’t even say that anymore.
At least not until he wakes up on November 6th, 1983 and he realizes he has a chance to change everything... to save everyone.

Summary
Anakin was a Jedi once. He was also a 45-year-old Sith Lord. Now, with all of those memories crammed into his head, he's 9-years-old again and back at the Temple on Coruscant, bound and determined to change destiny. If he can, you know, stop Dooku from joining Sidious, free his mother, start a personal war against slavery, avoid Palpatine, and train to even a fraction of his previous (future?) levels, all while maintaining his cover as a 9-year-old initiate. It can get rather...overwhelming. Too bad keeping up a facade has never been one of his strong points.
