Mordred should have known better than to make a dying claim as foolish as "I could do better," not with the way Fate likes to play with him. And perhaps he could have, but did he have to? Was all the pain of his past a jest? Did he truly have to go through all of this all over again? Everything?
Fate has a whole new plan of strange and dangerous laid out for him like a banquet feast. What is this business of alphas and omegas? This heritage he is thrust into-- he refuses to play such games! Had Arthur and Merlin's courtship the first time around have so much drama? So much angst? Had Uther always been such a fool? This is a madness unto itself.
Maybe he can just lie down and play dead again, just for a while.*This is a lighthearted view of Mordred navigating a world that he doesn't understand, please give him a break.

Summary
"Now, Sizhui was familiar with the concept of teleportation. His world was a fantastical world civilians could hardly comprehend after all, but teleporting was not a common occurrence, nor was it possible without powerful aids— which Wei Wuxian had openly been working on changing."
Sizhui just hoped, ever so dearly, that he was wrong about it turning into a whole time travel thing. Maybe they were hallucinating? Stuck in a dreamscape, hopefully? Otherwise, he had no idea how they were going to get back... he may be starting to panic, just a little.

Mordred dies with a smile on his face. His fate has come to pass, and he no longer has that weight on his shoulders. It’s nice, not being hated for something he had not yet done anymore. It’s not so nice to fulfill it, though. The thought crosses his mind that if he had a chance, just one chance, he’d change things.
...He didn’t think he’d actually get that chance, though.

Summary
The house was very small, only two rooms, and it was largely empty aside from some sparse pieces of furniture. Even the sleeping mat seemed to have been rolled up and carried away. There were a few left behind items that proved they’d found the right cottage, such as a birthing stool and a pile of blankets.
Zizhen poked his head to look in a bassinet and screamed.
Jin Ling drew his sword. Jingyi gasped and clutched his heart, terribly startled. Sizhui rushed over, hand on the hilt of his sword just in case.
“Oh,” he said.
Wei Wuxian poked his head over. “Oh!” he said delightedly.
Wei Wuxian finds a demon baby during a nighthunt and is immediately smitten with it. Meanwhile, Lan Sizhui is very anxious to solve the case so he can get ahold of himself. (He's never been jealous of someone before, much less a baby, but... maybe this is what it feels like.)

Summary
Maybe it's the little girl whose disappearance turned into a murder, and whose murder turned into a cold case, and who has now apparently decided to move in with him. Maybe it's the unacceptable hole left in his life when his dumb best friend and partner in (the prevention of) crime decided to go and get himself killed. Maybe it's his brother, whose high-profile career and fantastic girlfriend and first-child-on-the-way are steadily leaving Dean in the dust. Pick one. Pick all of them. The why doesn't matter so much as the what, and the what is this: Dean is pretty sure he's going completely, certifiably insane. Sure, he hasn't started wearing all his clothes inside out, and he still showers on a regular basis (anyways, that's not crazy, just a little eccentric); but there's no getting around the fact that he just threw away his life, his career, and his reputation by dragging out his mom's old necromancy book and summoning a Class A Forbidden Entity to his attic. A cranky one, too. With horrendous bed-head.

Summary
Set days after the events in Shadow (1.16), Dean and Sam are trying to get as far from Chicago as they can when an unexpected and yet familiar arrival throws their world into disarray. Dean didn't ask for a glimpse into his and Sam's future, and he's still not sure he wants one, especially not when his future self starts talking about angels and miracles, like either of those things could possibly exist.
"Okay, let's say you're right. Let's say at some point I'm going to travel into the past, meet myself, and then force myself to take a cross-country road trip with myself so that I can find some dude I refuse to talk about. The hell, Sam? Does any of that make sense?"
