The man sneers. “Well, it is just as they say. Cut off one head and two more take its place.”
There is an awkward pause.
“I think you've got the wrong myth,” Owen says.
“Yeah, that doesn't sound right.”
“Shut up!” The man smacks Curt hard across the mouth.
“Ow! What the hell!” Curt shakes the pain off and glares up at the man. “Why'd you only hit me?”
Curt and Owen are captured by a lone Chimera Agent.

Owen peers down to see Pete standing in front of him.

His great-nephew shuffles in place for a moment. “Is he okay?” he asks, turning and pointing towards the kitchen. “He's been standing there for a while.”
Owen follows his finger, spotting Curt glaring at a bowl of bananas on the counter like they owe him money.
Not again.
“Ah, he's fine, Pete, don't worry,” Owen assures him. “He just… does that sometimes.”
