This series includes all the stories I have ever written about my versions of Ecthelion and Glorfindel, in mostly chronological order, except for the final story, which contains various extras.
(The stories all share the same canon--until Glorfindel's rebirth. Then there are two different versions of how they reunite, each with its own sequence of fics.)If you're here for the first time, I suggest starting with Flawed and Fair, the first fic I wrote about these two, and still the most popular.

Summary
Lost Tales 2, "The Fall of Gondolin": "... so perished the Lord of the Fountain after fiery battle in cool waters." An important episode in the Fall of Gondolin, from the point of view of Glorfindel.
I have other, incomplete Glorfindel/Ecthelion slash works. This is the only complete one, I believe, and it is gen, though you could read implied slash, or believe they're very good friends and colleagues; either is perfectly plausible in this work.
