There was one tiny moment of silence before Anakin let out the most terrible scream yet. Fives and Rex yelled in rage, shoulders bashing into the ray shield, only to be thrown to the floor.
Ahsoka fought the urge to cry, peering for one moment at her masters battered form, hanging limply from the ceiling.
And she stared long enough to see the knife sticking out of his abdomen.
To see his face contorted in pain.
To see the steady river of blood pouring out of his body.
