So. It turns out that Shang Qinghua was taking commissions on the side to write fanfiction of his own novel. Truly, his shamelessness knows no bounds, ect., ect., what else is new?! The problem is, now the System has found those stories, and shoved them in the middle of Shen Qingqiu's Happy Ever After!

Summary
Shen Yuan, a Qing Jing researcher with low cultivation and an unhealthy interest in the demonic entities that crawl out of the rift in the abyssal zone of the ocean, gets his hands on an amulet to allow him to personally travel down there to conduct his studies. It gives him an aquatic spiritual form, with fascinating traits to help him survive at the bottom of the sea.
The problem is that he’s not only being allowed down there for his research. Twenty years ago, the levels of demonic energy emanating from the rift rose and haven’t fallen since. Cang Qiong monitors the coast, certain that there’s a powerful entity down there, lurking, biding its time. If possible, Shen Yuan is meant to find and report on that entity—but the chances of him actually stumbling across it are low enough to basically be zero, right?
Or: There is a creature at the bottom of the ocean. It takes exception to having its territory crossed over.

Summary
Shen Yuan has lived in the shitty omegaverse xianxia world of Proud Immortal Demon Way for years. Peacefully enjoying Qing Jing peak with his Peak Lord brother and whiling away the days. His cultivation is poor, his second gender never presented and he's managed to dodge most of the responsibility coming his way.
With the notable exception of a little black puppy. He’s happy to be responsible for him.
When the disciple intake that should contain Luo Binghe passes without the protagonist showing up, it throws a spanner into his plans. He’d sworn he’d hug the protagonist's golden thighs and protect his brother and Cang Qiong Mountain Sect from Demon Emperor Luo Binghe’s eventual wrath.
That’s going to be tough without him. But his little dog grows into a stalwart companion, arriving in his dreams to tell him he’s trapped in this canine body. That’s fine! They have all the time in the world for him to cultivate to human form.
He doesn’t know why the system is still counting down to Luo Binghe being thrown into the abyss, since he hasn’t even made an appearance…

Summary
Luo Binghe’s expression lit up once more, and he leaned in to kiss him. Shen Qingqiu failed to keep his own lips from twitching up in a smile as Luo Binghe looped his arms around his waist.
It was spring, and Luo Binghe was here, and Shen Qingqiu couldn’t imagine anything better.
Life was perfect.
Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe are in love, and everything is great! No Abyss, no betrayal, no torturous revenge. Just the two of them living in happy, honeyed contentment.
Except…something about it feels…off.
