"As the new school year settles into familiarity, I find myself unwillingly surrounded by an entourage of deluded individuals claiming to be my friends. The aforementioned individuals commonly display behaviours which I find intolerable at best. This is unacceptable. However, for reasons unknown, my threats of violence are quickly losing their effectiveness at dissuading such unwanted behaviour. In light of this, I've decided to attempt a different approach: instead of reprimanding what I consider bad behaviour, I will reward what I consider good behaviour."
Enid shook her head. "Wednesday, do you really think that's gonna--"
Wednesday held up a gold-star sticker. Enid let her sentence trail off and stared, baffled.
Slowly, Wednesday peeled it from the backing and stuck it onto Enid's cheek.
"Blissful silence,” Wednesday said. “It's working already."

Summary
Wednesday Addams, the Queen of the underworld, has ruled for a thousand years. Her robe trails like spilled ink across the stone, her voice is flat, deliberate, and final. She is eternal, and profoundly unimpressed by the living.
Her throne was obsidian. Her crown was bone. Her calendar was booked with plagues, curses, and the occasional existential crisis. She didn’t do small talk. And she certainly didn’t do spring.
Until Enid Sinclair arrived.
A walking serotonin spill in a pastel sweater, Enid didn’t descend into the Underworld so much as crash-land with snacks and scented candles. She brought daisies. She brought playlists. And worst of all, she brought feelings.
The dead were scandalized. Even Cerberus developed a preference for belly rubs and glitters.
Wednesday was not amused. She had no use for joy, or warmth, or whatever Enid was doing. But the Underworld had rules, and one of them was: if someone eats the pomegranate, they stay. Enid took a bite.
Just like that, spring moved in.

Summary
When Enid gets kidnapped, she is more annoyed than anything. Sure, she could panic, but why would she? After all, she knows it’s only a matter of time before her girlfriend Wednesday shows up to rescue her and deal with her kidnappers. All Enid has to do is sit and wait, which isn’t exactly her strong suit. It’s just sad that she has to miss a date with Wednesday for this.
