“Not true,” Jisung says with a laugh. It’s the flustered kind. Minho can see it, painted onto the back of his eyelids when he blinks. “You waited. Isn’t that how this…” he pauses for effect, emphasising the words left unsaid, the kind of words Jisung uses when he’s feeling particularly romantic (which is, of course, all the time. Minho’s boy has a diet built on sweet treats and romance)—we, us, our relationship, our love, our star-crossed story—“…lasted?”

Jisung nods even if he doesn’t know. Goes with the next best thing. “Everything.”
“Yeah? Everything?” Minho drops his leg, crawls over his body, reaches for his bedside table. “I should probably make you beg for it. Everything is a lot to ask of someone.”Jisung is in awe watching Minho pick people up with his shitty little lines, is in awe that every single one is falling for them.
(It's not all that surprising that Jisung falls for it too. Minho has a 100% success rate.)

The man lifts one brow—barely. It still feels like a crime. “You want a sample?”
“I mean… sure.” Jisung shrugs, pulse skittering. “What, you gunna hand me a little tester spoon? Maybe a…” He leans in, conspiratorial. “Single-use packet?”
Without missing a beat, the man reaches beneath the table—Jisung’s eyes follow helplessly—and comes back up with a black glove. He snaps it on. Flexes his fingers once, purely to be cruel.
“Only if I apply it.”
