Summary
Objectively, if Akechi were a normal detective, there would be no way to connect magical cat ears to being a Phantom Thief. But he’s not, or at least he probably isn’t, because he can hear Morgana, and that means he knows this is probably a Metaverse thing, and why did Akira agree to this, this was so stupid, he is going to get arrested and then murdered and thrown in jail in probably not that order, and, oh.
There’s a hand in his hair.
(Kurusu is infuriating and beautiful and an exception to everything. Kurusu is standing in front of him with wide eyes and big feline ears, and Goro is coming to realize that he is a fucking sucker, and he should really leave, and he definitely won’t.)

“For who?” Robert gives the baggie an aggressive flick. “Mr. Snuffleupagus?”
“Don't be mean, Robbie. I'm self-conscious about my nostrils.”
Robert helps Sonar kick his coke habit. Through unconventional means.
