Summary
Zelda has been flung into the distant past with nothing but a broken sword to guide her home. When Ganondorf comes to King Rauru’s court, Zelda immediately knows him, and she knows what he will become. If she is to have any hope of defeating the future Demon King, first she must understand him, starting with everything he knows about magic. Ganondorf is irresistibly drawn to the strange princess and finally obliges her requests for a lesson, but not even the Calamity has prepared Zelda for the rigorous training he has in mind.

He chuckled, but it wasn’t a happy sound. “I married you hoping that someday you would look at me.” She sucked in a breath, and he just held her hand tighter. “And sometimes, you do, look at me, and I think—” he shook his head. “But I know you don’t care for me like that. And so I can be— I can be other things, for you. I can be a good father to your children. I can be your knight, always. I can be the prince that stands at your side when you’re queen."
