Well, after Volume 2 and the Duffer brothers absolutely wrecking me, I stopped and decided to rewrite the story a bit. This would be a version of Volume 2 that gives us a coherent story for Mike Wheeler and Will Byers.
Or
A story where Mike Wheeler is on the verge of facing the end of the world and can’t stop fighting the feelings his best friend awakens in him.
