Summary
Freya O'Sullivan was most definitely not in love with her best friend Enoch O'Connor. Nope, not at all. And even if she was, which she wasn't, it wouldn't be hard to understand why. After all, he had been teaching her how to use her peculiarity for years, and he was there for her after Vic died, plus the whole fiasco before it. He had helped her through everything from moving loops to the nightmares following.

She loved him.
But considering what happened last time, she is rightfully worried, even if he isn't like Vic. Now it was more a case of keeping it from him, while still remaining close to him. But as Jacob Portman arrives in the Cairnholm loop, will their relationship survive the trials before them? Or will they die in the process?

First book of the fic will be following more of the movie plot while the second onwards will follow the book plot. Which sounds confusing and confuses me as I write it.

i felt bad about not posting anything for what do I do and I found a notebook from like 2yrs ago with this excerpt as like a bridge between books in a series and then never found the time to start writing the series so here you go ig
for context:
OC (kinda unnamed as of now) is Peter's daughter with a shapeshifter, has minor shapeshifting abilities and is the sister of Rumple altho he doesn't know that she's his sister until the end of the last chapter. She masquerades as peter's sister and handled all of the inter-kingdom relations for neverland. shes peters second and Queen of Neverland and has her own band of lost girls that she saved from dire circumstances. since shapeshifters and half-shapeshifters are not treated well she takes them in and often has them shift into her as decoys so she can go cause trouble (think padmés handmaidens in star wars)

Astarion grabbed it under its armpits, surprisingly heavy for a creature of it's size, and lifted it from the ornate chest, placing it gingerly on the ground.
It scampered barefoot across the grimy floor with quiet plaps. Arriving at Tav—Gods, it was only as tall as her hip—it gripped the hem of her tunic. It spun around on one heel, nearly toppling over with the inertia, to address Astarion. It removed the fingers from its mouth with a horrible wet sound and took a deep breath, or what must be deep for something so tiny.
