Shedletsky nervously rubbed his hands against his pants as he looked down at the floor.
“I think…” he paused for a moment before speaking again, “I need your help nesting.. again .”
Telamon stared at Shedletsky with a neutral expression before breaking out into a thin smile.
“Already?” asked Telamon doubtedly
Shedletsky nodded his head, still refusing to look at th other man.
“ Yes . If I wasn’t certain I wouldn't be here Tela–”
Shedletsky was cut off as Telamon pulled him into a tight hug, nearly crushing him.
“How adorable..” Telamon cooed. “And you don't want to spend this time with anyone else?”
Shedletsky pushed Telamon off him, causing the god to look upset for a moment before going back to being happy.
“You ask me this everytime, and the answers still the same. No."
Shedletsky starts nesting earlier than expected, forcing him to ask help from the one person he doesn't want to talk to— Telamon.

“What?” rasped out Shedletsky. “Telamon- I- you can't do that.” said Shedletsky
Telamon titled his head “Why not, people have done it before to Telamon. I don't see why it would be any different for you.”
Shedletsky shook his head “But I'm not you , well I sort of am but that's not the point. Telamon I'm no god and not to mention that would be…werid.”
“Nonsense.” Insisted Telamon
During a round, some coding breaks causing some survivors to have copy of themselves; that is a younger version of themselves.

However, with anxiety bubbling over his chest and insecurities at an all time high, things begin to change. Why has a God that claims they know each other come to save him? Him of all people.

Summary
Instead of meeting the Batter and purifying the land, the Player is paired off with Dedan to help run Zone 1. With the additional hands helping him, Dedan becomes less of an asshole, although he still has bouts of screaming rage when faced with incompetent Elsen. His Player doesn't rise to his rage, keeps him calm, and generally helps keep the stress from killing Dedan earlier than natural.
Dedan eventually comes to rely on his Player (even though he won't admit it; pride thing) and when the Player abruptly vanishes one day, Dedan says 'fuck that noise' and goes out to find them and remind them of where they belong and who they belong to.
