While the Bad Batch try to evade the growing Empire, the mountains of evidence that prove the adoption magnet theory true continues to grow. Hunter, along with the rest of the Bad Batch, is trying his very best to keep Kanan, Cal, and Omega safe, as well as extending a welcome hand to anyone else who needs it (. . . alright, that part is mostly Hunter. The others are worried about how much space they have left on their ship).
Meanwhile, Crosshair is still stubbornly in denial of his own adoption evidence. But as the Empire grows every day, and as Second Sister and Reva are forced to survive in Fortress Inquisitorius, he’s beginning to see that his brothers might be right about the Empire . . . and that maybe it’s time to get himself and his totally-not-adopted daughters out.

Kanan scoffed, “and how can you prove that?”
Before the clone could answer, steps came from behind him, to which he quickly dropped to a knee picked up one of his blasters and pivoted, his back turned to the wall.
“Rex?” The man sounded shocked, like he had seen a ghost.
The clone dropped his weapons immediately and Kanan could see Rex’s complexion had turn pale.
“…Cody?” Whispered Rex, eyes quickly flicking to the Commander’s temple, then higher to his hairline.

Summary
The war starts and it's chaos. Peacekeepers are made Generals, clones are made men and millions of lives tumble into the fog of war.
General Obi-Wan Kenobi struggles to find his feet in a new world where people have numbers not names and he's called to fight but not fear for those he's sworn to protect. The Jedi Code is stretched to breaking but for Commander Cody, the clones' time has finally come. Cody follows his jetii into the field, all fire-bright and burning, but when the Darkness calls he finds they might not be prepared at all.
This is the first of a planned 5-6 story arc following the Clone Wars in detail. Eventual Codywan but it's a slow build and this first fic is gen. My first ever fic so please be gentle!
