Bertolt's been dead for a while. It's fine. Better than being crushed to paste between a titan's teeth anyway, which is the last thing he remembers. During an inconvenient awakening in the Paths, he wonders if it might be nice to be alive again after all. Ugh, he's only been back for thirty seconds and he's ALREADY crying.
It’s four years later, and everything is different.
