"You!” A sudden voice snaps Beomgyu’s attention to its owner; a tall man who was glaring at him from next to the steps leading down to the pool. “Did you steal my kid?”
And maybe Taehyun had been right about one thing after all, this shitty company definitely doesn’t pay Beomgyu enough to deal with all these fiascos. The man was gorgeous alright. Gorgeous but a downright lunatic!
And he tells him so.
“No wonder your kid ran away from you, you’re crazy!”
Beomgyu loves his job, he loves interacting with the kids and seeing the delight dawning on their faces when he swims up to them. The parents all love him because their kids love him. Everything was going well, that is, until a frustrated parent shows up, accusing him of being a literal merman and taking his child.

“What?” Taehyun breaths, a sudden dizziness sprouting and blooming inside his head. He blames it on the alcohol. Again, Beomgyu’s fault.
“Date me,” Yeonjun repeats, this time with more certainty.
“Because you… like me?”
“No, silly. Are you sure I’m more drunk than you, Tyunnie?”
Taehyun agrees to be Yeonjun’s fake boyfriend. Regret follows once he realizes Yeonjun seems to have taken a sudden liking to popping out and randomly kissing him whenever he least expects it.

Summary
The eerie feeling of a presence in the room is what causes Yeonjun to shoot his head up, his dark eyes immediately locking with Soobin’s.
He gasps and makes grabby hands at the taller boy, “Soobinie. Where have you been?”
As soon as Soobin embraces him, pulling the older into his broad chest, Yeonjun allows himself to become vulnerable. He buries his face into the junction between Soobin’s neck and collarbone and feels comfort blanket him when Soobin starts to gently caress his back. “I’m so confused,” He voice is wet and watery. “Soobin, they all keep telling me you guys are dead.”
“Hyung,” Yeonjun feels the vibrations against Soobin’s chest as he speaks. “I’m right here, aren’t I?”
(Yeonjun wants to believe him, he really does).

“A lot of people write Beomjun fics, Beomgyu hyung,” Kai tells him as he places his chin on Beomgyu’s shoulder.
“I know that,” Beomgyu explains, “But who in this dorm writes Beomjun fics?!”
Beomgyu decides to check out Tomorrow x Together fanfiction (yes, including the Beomjun ones). However, he quickly stumbles upon a fic that seems a little too accurate to be written by a fan.

Soobin's words echoed in his mind, "You don't have to prove anything to anyone," he had told him. Yeonjun should have just brushed the situation off and walked away. And that's exactly what he planned to do. But what he found himself doing instead, was walking up to Choi Beomgyu and kissing him.

But Yeonjun couldn't control the disappointment he felt when he woke up every morning and saw that Beomgyu had already left, his bed now cold and empty.

Yeonjun goes to break things off with Beomgyu because it was hurting him more to have the younger so close, yet so far at the same time. Like daylight seeping through the gaps between one’s fingers.

Beomgyu's plan was quite simple.
Go over to his hot neighbour, Yeonjun's house and strike up a conversation with him, under the disguise of trick-or-treating. And hopefully by the end of the night, he'll end up with a date and... free candy!
If only it had turned out that simple.
Now he was stuck inside a party at Yeonjun's house. Escape seems difficult, especially after coming to the conclusion that Yeonjun's guests don't seem to be wearing costumes after all. Oh, and he's also pretty sure his attractive neighbour is a vampire.
