Summary
Lucia was a bit of a Prince Noctis superfan, even she would admit to that. She knew his school schedule, his birthday, what events he’d be hosting on TV during holidays, and owned every magazine and newspaper he’d ever appeared in - which was surprisingly few but he’d just turned 18 a couple of months ago so they probably held off for a bit on those. She was a fan of everything about him; from his cool and collected attitude to his softer, more empathetic appearances when he did donations and charity work. She even liked his Strong Silent Type demeanor whenever she saw him in their shared chemistry class, blank faced and staring at the clock.

Summary
In traditional settings, five steps of proper courting were to be followed and accepted by any Beta or Omega before romantic interest can be expressed. His father had drilled that into Noctis’ head before he’d even presented.
Nowadays, properly stepped courting wasn’t necessarily commonplace, usually only seen in romantic films or those shitty novels Gladio tended to read while he had the prince doing warm ups. Basically everyone knew what they were, but it wasn’t as strictly necessary that they be followed.
Even if this wasn’t necessarily required, there was a strange part of Noctis that wanted to court Prompto. He deserved it, after all, to have everything done right, doted over the way that Omegas before him had been.
_____Because of his status, Noctis needs to go about courting very carefully. Despite the work he puts towards it, it doesn't quite seem like Prompto is taking the hint.
