“With every fiber of my being,” Strohl replied all too quickly. He felt his face flush a bit. He cleared his throat a bit to ease his nerves. “Why do you ask?”
“I think I may have an idea that could... help. Can you close your eyes?”
It's only been a few days since they left the Eldan Sanctum, and to say Strohl was struggling with the recent changes... Well, that would be putting it mildly. He desperately wants to get past this hang-up, and Will wants to bridge the gap that's formed between them. Thankfully, Will has always been a creative problem solver - and although Strohl doesn't know it, this may solve two of his problems at once.

Hermes feels a certain way whenever someone visits him—this botanist, a researcher in Elpis. They’re very nice, but Meteion knows that Hermes likes them a lot. Perhaps like-likes them, because his heart races and he feels as warm as the sun whenever that botanist visits.
But Meteion begins to notice that the visitor seems to feel very much the same as Hermes—in asking him what that feeling is called, she reveals as much to him. That feeling called ‘love’.
