Summary
Sherlock brings John and Mary along with him on a case in Florence, but he has an ulterior motive: to reunite with Irene and explore intimacy on every level. But Sherlock and Irene quickly realise they have to face the reality of old wounds alongside the fantasies of their new relationship. And as the deceptions escalate, John fears his friend may be falling into another dangerous trap. And this time, it might be up to John to do the saving.
Part romance, part bromace, all angst. A sequel to my stories 'The Sign of the Four' and 'What He Likes', but can be read alone. I've written a lot of the story already and will try to update twice a week.

After a year and a half of tracking down Moriarty's network, Sherlock is finally ready to return to London. But Irene won't let him go without confronting him about his addiction, the pain she's caused him, and their feelings for one another. Sherlock isn't about to make this easy on her.

Astarion's swirling thoughts were interrupted abruptly as they passed through a gate; they had moved into a shadier part of the market and his escort's grip had tightened less-than-protectively on his arm. Shit.
The vampire's eyes searched his face, a cold chill of fear running through him at what he found. Dumb though he was, the man knew something.

Summary
A Paladin of Helm and a vampire spawn might not be the likeliest of allies, but in times of desperation we must make do with what, and who, we have at our disposal.
In other words, unapologetic fanwank for my two best boys (Astarion and Halsin that is), and a character from another work who I really wanted to meet them. Sex starts in chapter 4 and the Good Sex (if you know Astarion's story you probably know what I mean lol) is starting soon. Aiming for an eventual barrage of fluff and smut so they can get all the happy endings they deserve, I'll update here as we go. Those who are just here for some filth, there's Tav/Astarion smut in chapters 4 and 5, currently.
