"Mike, Mike—" Will laughs loudly, only to realize his mistake and quiet down immediately. Mike almost wishes he didn't as he makes a deal with himself that he wants to make Will laugh like this for the rest of his life. "Mike!"
"I'm not stopping until you sing with me," Mike tells him. "You started this. These are the rules."

“Your humble servant begs for your forgiveness.” He responded, as a laugh escaped Max’s lips.
“Oh my god! You’re still such a nerd!” She said, in between laughs. “So what’s up?”
“Nothing. Can’t I just want to talk to my bestest friend and trusted confidant Max Mayfield?”
“That’s bullshit. So?”
“Ok, fine.” Will sighed. “I got a call a couple of day ago.”
“Ah, I think I know what this is about. Mike’s daughters, I’m assuming.”
“Yes, which was really crazy, because I didn’t even know they existed.” He huffed, “You can imagine how I felt when I heard the name Jane Wheeler.”
“Well, yeah, it’s a pretty deadly combination.” She huffed.
or: !7 years after leaving Hwakings, Will gets a call that flips his world upside down. It could be his downfall, but it could also give him everything he's ever dreamed of and maybe a little bit more.
