She’s just handing Aaron his change when the door swings open and a figure that she recognises but really, really wasn’t expecting enters the pub.
The woman looks a lot more put together than she did the last time Charity saw her. Immaculate makeup, stylish clothing, her long, dark hair smooth and sleek. She’s gorgeous. Stunning.
She glances around the room before her gaze lands on Charity. The second their eyes lock, one side of her mouth quirks up and she approaches the bar.
Fuck.

Summary
If someone had told Aaron Dingle 10 years ago that he would one day wake up married to a farmer, he would have given them a confused scowl and told them they were off their head.
And if that someone had also told him that said farmer would be the man he was already married to, he would have laughed right in their face. Then he would have told Robert the second he got back to the Mill and the two of them would have laughed even harder together, cackling at the very idea until their sides hurt.
As it turns out, the universe must be the one with the real sense of humour, because now, at an unreasonably early time in the morning, Aaron groans when the shrill sound of Robert’s alarm pulls him from his slumber.

Aaron glances over at Robert. “You wanna tell them or should I?”
“Oh my god.” Mack brings a hand to his chest, eyes wide. “You’re pregnant.”
Matty bursts out laughing. Aaron takes a deep breath and pinches the bridge of his nose, hearing Robert snort beside him.
“Close,” he says, resting a hand on Aaron’s thigh. “We’re engaged, actually.”
Mack and Matty both gape at them for a moment, before simultaneously dropping to sit on the ground opposite them and immediately talking over each other.
