Salt Boy by dornfelder is an interesting read. I really enjoyed the use of multiple povs and the way that dornfelder writes Theon. King Stannis Baratheon gives Theon an impossible choice. This is a really interesting concept that I think dornfelder explored well. I enjoyed the multiple povs.

How do I even try and talk about I am the sound your silence makes by marianneT? It's a really fun read. I really enjoyed the humour and the way it balanced the horrors. marianneT really sold this pairing and the dynamic between them to me. I love how complicated the characters are. This is a brilliant canon divergence that starts with Sansa deciding to work with what she's got when Baelish marries her off to Ramsay.

Queen Sacrifice by Princess_Ron was a delightful surprise to stumble across. It's not a pairing I'd usually read, but the blurb got me curious. Princess_Ron writes a brilliant Ron who is determined to try and protect those he loves regardless of the cost to himself, whilst Lord Voldemort seems to get more and more obsessed the more he forces Ron to give. I think Princess_Ron does a good job of writing both of them. I also really enjoyed the way that the fact Ron likes to dress is handled in the text. It's a very high-stakes story and it keeps you gripped from the start.

There was another student here.
Tom recognized him vaguely—while transfer students were not necessarily uncommon due to the war, they were rare enough to at least make an impression. This particular transfer student was in his year, sorted into Ravenclaw after an impressively long hat stall. He looked like he might be descended from the Potter line, but he did not share the surname so his lineage was of no particular interest to Tom. Nothing about him was of particular interest to Tom, in fact, and yet here he stood, holding the book that Tom had come here to find.
It would be a good time to turn away. The Restricted Section was restricted for a reason—only books documenting extremely dangerous or extremely advanced magic were stored here.
Tom’s feet, however, suddenly felt as if they were made of lead. It wasn’t magic keeping him tied down, but something far more mysterious like curiosity or even fate. In any case, the delay was all it took for the Ravenclaw to lift his chin and meet Tom’s eyes.
This Ravenclaw, Tom realized, had eyes as blindingly green as the Killing Curse.

Forever, preferably by JoWithTheFlow is just a joy to read. The characterisation and world-building is brilliantly done. The story just sucks you in. I love the way JoWithTheFlow writes both Harry and Tom and how they both grow and change through the story.

Diagnosis by MaidenMotherCrone is basically Harry Potter as Meredith Grey and Tom Riddle as Derek Shepherd, I mean it's not quite the same there are some interesting twists and turns. It's a fun read.

Summary
Dumbledore doesn't make it in time for Harry's trial, and the outcome is very different. Harry is expelled, his wand snapped.
But he refuses to give up. And he is done waiting around for Albus Dumbledore to give him information.
Deciding to take his life into his own hands, Harry asks for training from several Order members, preparing himself to fight Voldemort while the whole wizarding world believes he's helpless and back in the muggle world.

The Heart In The Tree by spulenspul sucks you in and before you know it you're hooked. On the whole I really enjoyed this and spulenspul pulled some really interesting plot twists that I did not see coming at all. I really enjoyed the way Harry was written and his relationship with Sirius. I really enjoyed the way that the romance is handled; the relationship between Harry, Dean, and Seamus felt real and believable. The fic starts with Harry being woken by a surge of magic.

Where do I even begin with The Evans Boy by lonibal? It is a fantastic read.The plot and characterisation is utterly phenomenal, as is the world building. It's a story that will suck you in and spit you out days later. Harry Evans is the eldest child of Lily Potter and he loves his brother.

stay 'til the sun rose by Anonymous is a really lovely modern day AU with gangs. I really enjoyed the 5+1 format, and the way it allows us to focus solely on Lucerys and Aemond's relationship, with all the gang and non-gang stuff serviving as an interesting backdrop. It's a really sweet read.

And more importantly, Neil enjoyed that it gave him something to other than idle away his hours with his typical self-destructive vices, so Andrew was more than happy to hold onto it. And if Neil wanted to help him wash the coffee smell out of his hair to shake off the PTSD, he was happy to let him do that, too.

Dick shrugs and lets his eyes wander to the painting of a forest on the wall opposite him. He kinda wishes he was wandering through a forest right now, not trying to wade through the mess that had become of his life over the last eight months.
“Richard, as I’ve said before, this only works if you talk to me.” His therapist says with a sigh, Dick wishes he could remember her name.
Dick swallows and runs a hand through his hair, his fingers catching on the raised scar at the back of his head from the bullet's exit wound. “I don’t- It’s like-” He huffs in frustration.
“It’s okay, take your time.” His therapist reminds him for what feels like the hundredth time this session.

Strength of Heart by ResiGamerGirl is a story that will suck you in full of complicated men. In a lot of ways this is the story of John Watson and how he gets involved with two very complicated men, there are of course more than a few bumps along the way. I really enjoyed the way this is written. I loved how both Sherlock and Moriarty are written.

Sorcerer's Bane by BeautifulFiction is a really beautiful read. Merlin gets captured when they mistake him for Arthur, who of course has to try and rescue him. I love the way Arthur and Merlin grow together in this, and the way this is also true with their friends. I also liked the fact that for all Merlin in a BAMF, there is still a price he has to pay.

The Path Of A Pendragon by BeautifulFiction is a really lovely read. Ygraine has some power, though not much, so she knows she won't live to see her son grow but she also knows that magic will love her son and he will love magic in return. I love the way Ygraine haunts the narrative. I really enjoyed the way the relationship between Merlin and Arthur is written. This is a story that you sink into.
