Summary
When Harry Potter's Hogwarts letter raises red flags for Severus Snape, he delivers the letter instead of letting Dumbledore handle it. Severus does not see a miniature James Potter when he encounters the scrawny child, drowning in clothes that don't fit and holding himself carefully away from his aunt like she might strike him at any moment. Summary
Sirius Black has a secret. He has a few actually. James Potter has a secret as well. Peter has a secret, one he's had for a while now. Remus, though, might be the only one to have a secret of such great consequence. The only thing all of these secrets have in common is that they will inevitably be revealed, at least to someone.

"Well you don't." Sirius snapped, "We're strangers. You haven't talked to me once since I moved in, except when you're afraid of storms apparently."
Remus huffed, clearly annoyed, because Sirius did have a point, "Fine then." Struggling, he grimaced his lips, "What is a hobby of yours."
Sirius seemed appeased by this, smiling pleasantly, "Well, I don't tell many people this, but I'm entranced by astronomy. After all, I'm named after a star. I suppose I've loved the night sky since I was young."
"I hate the night sky." Remus said firmly.
Sirius's smile dropped, "Always the contrarian, aren't you. If I say I love ballet, surely then you would quit?!"
Remus rolled his eyes, "It's just my opinion, trust me I don't care enough about you to be so petty."
