Kaeya furrowed his brow. "The notice said seventeen to nineteen-hundred."
"Like I said, early."
They stared at one another in irascible silence.
"I'll have you know," said Kaeya, folding his arms over his chest, chin tipped up. "Ever since I made Cavalry Captain, I've only been late twice."
Worse than a look, Diluc gave him a Look.
Annoying. Kaeya jutted his bottom lip, glancing loftily to the side. "One of those was your fault, by the way."
Diluc ignored him, crossing his arms as if mimicking Kaeya. "I meant people always stop you to talk. I gave you a window for a reason. Thought you'd take advantage of it."

"Flins," Varka nods in hello, and then jumps right into the problem at hand. Nobody is around to hear them except the ghosts. "Why haven't you slept with you boyfriend yet? Are you torturing him on purpose?"
The puffins chirp like a peanut gallery and Flins sort of just stares in his unnerving way he does sometimes when he forgets to act human.
"I adore Illuga, I would never hurt him so.'
"Then why did he come to ME for sex tips?"
"When?"
"Yesterday!"

At his wit’s end, Illuga turns to Grand Master Varka for relationship advice. Varka ends up getting far more entangled between Flins and Illuga than he predicted. Title is from A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare.

“Then what are you?” Kaeya drawled. “You hate me too much to call me a friend, and I like you too much to call you a foe. We've fought with sword just as we've played as children, and yet we both act like neither had ever occurred. Tell me, Master Diluc, what should I call you?”
______Kaeya drinks too much at the Acting Grand Master's Suprise Party, and Diluc is tasked with kicking him out after all the other guests have gone home. But at this late hour in the evening, regrets of the past accidentally slip out, and hands wander places best forgotten by sober minds.
