    Damian wasn't quite born with a blade in his hand. However, from the moment he could walk, he was taught how to wield one.

    Damian has had lessons from the best instructors in the world. He is far superior to any of the strays Bruce Wayne has collected over the years. He is the clear choice to fight at Father’s side as Robin. And one day, when his father inevitably falls in battle, Damian will wear the cowl.

    This is Damian’s birthright. His future. He is the only true son of the Bat.

    So why does Father insist on keeping the others around? Why are they welcomed with open arms, while he’s held at arm’s length?

    And why does it hurt so much?
