Harry wasn't one of the most observant people, he's well aware of that. Still, though, surely even he would’ve noticed if he’d been walking around reading everyone’s mind.
Apparently not.
So here he was, sitting opposite Snape after a particularly disastrous occlumency lesson, experiencing what he's pretty sure Hermione would call a 'paradigm shift.’

Wasn’t legilimency supposed to be one of the most difficult disciplines of magic? Conjuring his Patronus was more difficult than what he just did to Snape.
Or: how Harry became a prodigy in the Mind Arts against his will. He wasn’t sure who was more pissed off about it; him or Snape.

Summary
Steve Harrington Never thought he would have peaked in High School. Yeah, sure, he was not exactly going anywhere with his life, but who could blame him, after three years of head trauma, plenty of mental scarring from battling interdimensional monsters, and physical scarring from getting his face rearranged by Highschool Hotheads and getting tortured by Russian spies beneath a mall in the middle of nowhere America. So really, who could blame him for taking a year or two off after barely graduating high school to figure himself out or whatever?
Good intentions aside though, turns out he had no choice in the matter. Just a few months after the nightmare that was Starcourt, he managed to find himself dead, and not heroically battling against hell beasts from an alternate dimension, but rather from a stale fancy-ass truffle that didn't even taste all that great to begin with.
Only to wake up and find himself an infant again, except with all his memories intact.

Steve dies unexpectedly, only to find himself re-living his life from scratch.

Our beloved creature must grapple with sudden fatherhood and all the surprises it brings, including but not limited to his his own daddy issues, and his new son Danny finding a haunted red crucifix; one with a beetle in the middle.
