Summary
Nicholas does solo work. He’s never felt comfortable enough to branch out. There are too many risks involved to bring in a stranger, and he hadn’t had a serious relationship for a long time before Euijoo. And then Euijoo— well— it was never something he planned for himself. Summary
There, right in his palm, are two short auto-injectors with no cap on. This could mean many things, of course, but the breadcrumbs of context sprinkled all through the night paint a clear picture. Heat Inducing Drugs (or HIDs as they're often called) are common enough to have commercials on TV.
Euijoo doesn't know what to think. He really doesn't want to think about the guy in front of him with the pretty eyes and the strawberry charm in his boots being in heat. He doesn't – he needs to stop looking at the auto-injectors.

Summary
Euijoo froze at the sight. His heartbeat was so loud in his ears he couldn't even hear the words spoken to him. With shaky hands and even shakier knees, he turned around and exited the room, exited the dorm, exited the building and even then he had yet to stop walking. He didn't even need to close his eyes for the picture to stay painted, imprinted in his mind, stark and oversaturated.
Nicholas, flushed red, sat on the ground, his back supported by the foot of the bed. His shirt was raised above his chest, scrunched up under his neck, held in place under his chin. His lips, red and sticky, whispering softly in his mother tongue, shushing and appeasing in between each breath. His arms, encircling, protecting, fingers carding through short blond hair, digits probing gently, gentler than they've ever been with him.
