Summary
Xie Lian is the star of the c-pop group Flower Crowned Gods, known for their sharp dance routines and pitch perfect singing. After having ended a nine month long tour Xie Lian is asked to participate alone in a charity event, where he will be paired with an artist from another label - Crimson Rain Sought Flower.
The collaboration awakens the joy of music making in Xie Lian, opening him up to a new creative expression. However, Xie Lian's new music expression and his budding relationship with Crimson Rain Sought Flower is not looked on kindly by all however, leading to Xie Lian being thrown out of the label which was the only family and home he had. Alone, Xie Lian tries to find a way to carry on, struggling with the media constantly catching up to him. It seems like an endless loop of misfortune, until someone who’s been desperately looking for him - finds him. -

Summary
Xie Lian and Hua Cheng have been best friends since childhood, the one person Xie Lian could always depend on. After high school, Hua Cheng leaves, asking Xie Lian to come with him. Xie Lian declines, scared of holding him back. Hua Cheng visits, and Xie Lian is always happy to have him sleep on his couch, and sad to see him go. His feelings, a crush which has grown into unrequited love, stay hidden.
Until Hua Cheng comes back to handle his father’s death, and everything changes.
______________________“Hua Cheng, here to see my father,” Hua Cheng said as they stepped up to the counter. Xie Lian stood close, their fingers brushing.
“Oh,” the mortician said, nodding as he looked over at some papers. When he looked back up, his gaze landed on Xie Lian. “And he is?”
“I’m Xie Lian,” he answered with a polite smile. The mortician frowned, looking over at Hua Cheng.
“Only immediate family can come into the back with the deceased,” he said sharply. Hua Cheng’s brows rose, and then his left hand grabbed Xie Lian’s, their fingers tangling together.
“He’s my husband,” Hua Cheng said, and Xie Lian felt like his knees might give out. -

Summary

“Hi, is this Xie Lian?” a calm, neutral voice asked. Whoever this was, they spoke with an even, metered tone that set Xie Lian’s hair on edge.
Not recognizing the voice, Xie Lian hesitated, then said, “Yes, this is Xie Lian.”
“My name is Yin Yu. I’m Hua Cheng’s assistant.” Hug Cheng had mentioned his assistant before in passing, but he’d never told Xie Lian his name. “I don’t have a lot of time to explain, but there is a car on its way to pick you up. There’s an emergency, and I think Hua Cheng could use your assistance.”
Or Hua Cheng goes feral and Xie Lian helps.
