    It's August and sweltering when Steve asks, out of nowhere, if Bucky wants to try kissing. Just to see what it's like. Bucky then spends far, far too many years pretending it didn't mean anything at all.

Даже в детстве он охотнее представлял себя ветеринаром или трактористом (очень уж ему нравились большие машины), чем учителем. Пока работал в полиции тоже никогда не возникало подобных мыслей. К учителям и преподавателям Костя испытывал уважение, поскольку контроль над горсткой орущих детей-подростков в его голове приравнивался к задержанию целой банды вооружённых до зубов преступников. С одним лишь отличием: в детей нельзя было стрелять, если они нападали первыми.
