Air lanes become lines of shooting stars pressing onward in the darkness. Skyscrapers around them glow with the light of thousands of residents inside, creating trails of brilliance that ascend up towards the black sky.

Summary
It’s raining.
Bly likes how it smells. There’s something earthy and pleasant about it here. On Kamino, rain means lightning and ozone that clogs the air until it’s hard to breathe. Here, he inhales the scent slowly, and understands for the first time why rain is such a big deal to nat-borns. It smells like life. The sound of the droplets against the giant leaves above them is soothing in a way that he hadn’t expected to enjoy.
He thinks that General Secura is enjoying it as well. She is silent next to him, eyes closed, breathing deeply. He can’t tell if she’s meditating or just listening. Either way she seems more relaxed than he’s seen her this entire campaign.

Six standard days after the Battle of Mustafar, give or take a little, Bo-Katan and the Kyr’tsad come back to Coruscant.
When Elle comes into the medbay, Ca’tra is laying on her stomach on her bunk, watching an episode of Hero With No Fear on the datapad Kix had gotten for her; it’s the pilot episode, a long one that’s supposedly about the first Geonosis--it’s horribly inaccurate, but funny, and she can see why the jetii, Ahsoka, likes it so much. She looks up from the datapad at the sound of the door opening, is already looking back down when she she recognizes the familiar paint job and colors as her sister’s armor, and she pauses the holo, pushes herself to a sitting position and smiles.
Elle looks tired and weary, but she smiles warmly and crosses the medbay to stand in front of Ca’tra’s bunk, sets her helmet down on the floor. Starts to open her mouth, to speak, but Ca’tra forestalls her, gets to her feet (carefully) and flings her arms tightly around her ori’vod. Squeezes her arms, as though she could convey everything she’s feeling through osmosis. I missed you.

Tuck is nice, though he’s not her favorite ‘minder’; after Rex, of course, she actually likes Brii the best. He never asks her to say anything, just sits in a chair and chatters to her about the battalions and about the peace talks between the Republic Senate and CIS Senate, which are apparently being spearheaded by Padme. Unsurprisingly. Sometimes he’ll flip through his sketchbook and show her his drawings, show her the ones he’s working on--yesterday he’d shown her a rough caricature of Anakin, depicting him as a fish, and she’d actually laughed at it. Brii had seemed very pleased.
There’s probably a bet going around about that, she thinks, wryly fond. Who can make Commander Tano laugh the most?
