Summary
In a more peaceful Faerun, the Companions of the Hall were reborn not to save the world again, but to live out their lives in happiness - a reward well deserved. Jarlaxle, as always, moves forever forward, ignoring pains left behind by lost loved-ones; though the machinations of one drow priestess might change how he spends this epilogue.
Jarlaxle sat in the quiet for many minutes, staring out over Luskan harbor. The waves crashed gently against the wooden pillars of the docks. Drunkards wandered the alley, singing lusty songs with slurred words. The rigging of the ships creaked in time to the wind and the waves. All the while, the stars sparkled overhead. So many stars. The world was wide, wide open, but surprisingly cold.
“Ah Zak, I wish you could see us now.”
Hundreds of miles away and below, a drow priestess completed her ritual. Glittering diamonds, thousands of them scattered about the room, turned to shimmering vapor and dust, coalescing around fragments of acid-pitted bone upon an altar. Moments later, a man dead for nearly one-hundred-and-fifty years opened an eye.

Summary
Underground doctor Luke Skywalker gets a surprise visitor at terrible-thirty in the morning-- the notorious Steel Rider, who apparently is not just an urban legend, plus a mysterious kid with abilities Luke really wishes he didn't recognize. They need his help, but they come with a whole pack of trouble at their heels-- impossible magic, mad science, conspiracies and cover-ups, crime lords and biker gangs, and Luke's own family history catching up with him at last.
Things might get weird, but honestly? It'd be hard to make this city much weirder.
