There were several comparisons to be made between Earth and Pandora: Earth had been reduced to a barren wasteland planet with insane laws imposed by a greedy government; Pandora was beautiful, teeming with colorful life and shared through the beautiful heart-songs of native Singers. Earth was where they'd cremated his twin brother, Mark, and asked Puck to take his place; Pandora was where Mark still came to him in the most realistic dreams he'd ever had. On Earth, Puck had been confined to a wheelchair and the orders of the military; On Pandora, Noah earned his place as a leader with infinite respect and humbled power.
Earth had destroyed his life and family. But Pandora introduced his soulmate, Kurt, and allowed him to create new ones.

The post-canon transmigratory Mingcheng fic -- featuring a beloved ensemble cast, OCs included (I LOVE YOU JIANG BOWEN) -- that I never knew I needed. Holy fuck the writing is immaculate. I cried for the first three chapters. I laughed throughout. From the premise to the fun&games, the whole thing is so well executed; plot points are consistent and well connected, characterization is thoughtful and satisfying. The slow burn romance pays off explosively holy shit. So much build up and pay off of tension... The author really knows what they're doing. NEED TO STUDY THIS FIC for how to write the real Good Shit. Pacing, POV switching with unreliable narrators, integration of canon and non-canon elements... I'm so impressed. First time I've been so emotionally invested in a while... I spent 18 hours of my day off not binging but SAVORINGGGG this thing. Holy fuck.
