Summary
Buck moves out of Eddie's place after Eddie and Chris return from El Paso. All of the 118 are grieving the loss of Bobby Nash and they are just trying to get back to a sense of normality but life isn't like that. Buck's past comes back to metaphorically punch him in the face as no one was aware of Buck's past and Eddie is not happy about being kept in the dark.
Buck is pulled back into his past life as a black op comes to light and something that was hidden needs to be found.

Buck was always vague about his past, and for good reason. He lied to Bobby about dropping out of SEAL training, not wanting anyone to know about it. But in fact he was honorably discharged due to an injury. Said injury is only revealed when the truck lands on his foot.

After suing Bobby to come back to work, it isn't really the warm welcome back Buck had been hoping for. He's solidly on the outside of the 118 family now; it hurts less, thanks to this, when Buck has to leave again for a deployment. Buck comes back hurt, quiet, and tries to live again with everything that's happened to him on his deployment.
