“I’m going to be the captain?"
Tommy shoots a look over Jason’s shoulder at Matt who has abandoned his curls to listen to them, both of them sharing a smirk. “Not yet buddy.” Jason’s shoulders droop with disappointment. “There are traditions you have to follow if you want to be captain. You're the front runner. You just have to seal the deal.”
Jason perks right back up, he can do that he can follow some tradition to be captain, how hard could it be. “What do I have to do?”
Tommy’s grin is sharp “It’s easy all you have to do to be the new captain is fuck the old one.”
Jason blinks, stares for a long minute. Fuck the old captain! He barks a laugh. Clearly Tommy is having him on. “Yeah right, what do I really have to do?”
Tommy’s face goes serious, not even a hint of a smile. “You have to fuck the captain Carver. That’s how it’s done, if you don’t want the chance I’m sure Hargrove would like the title as captain in your stead.”
