“Detective...pray tell, why my grandson doesn’t know what chess is?” Grandpa Ra’s spits out, eyes narrowed.
Baba looks up from where he’d set a checkered board down onto the ebony coffee table. “...He’s four.”

Bruce looked up when Tim let out a loud laugh—
—then he flinched back at the stabbing pain that erupted through his forearm. His gaze shot down, a grimace spreading across his face as he stared at the back of Damians' head.
“Dick.” He said, tone kept steady even as Damian began to slurp down blood, head bobbing, ripping at Bruce’s skin.
Dick looked up, “What’s up—” the smile on Dick’s face fell, a look of horror painting across it. He jumped up, knee cracking into the coffee table as he dropped in front of Bruce.
“Oh my god!” Dick shouted, hands uselessly hovering over Damian, “Let go! Damian! Let go!”

Summary
Half an hour later, Tim's focus was back on Damian when the once calm breathing coming from the vampire sharpened. Tim watched as Damian’s nose twitched a few times, taking in a few sharp breaths. Tim sat up, setting his book down.
Was Damian having a nightmare?
Damian then took a long, deep breath, nostrils flaring, and before Tim could stand to try and wake him, Damian’s eyes popped open, and he was launching himself out of the chair and running out of the room.
“What the hell—!” Tim yelped out.
